Evo 2014

I went 2 and 2 at my first time at Evo for Injustice.  Only wanting to focus on one tournament, I entered in only Injustice.  I have photos of what I brought and other tournaments on my <a href="https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.735780929811988.1073741833.503598629696887&amp;type=3">Facebook page</a>.

What this tournament taught me was the importance of learning match ups and thinking outside of the box.  There was something wonderful about watching the Japanese players play BlazBlue.  They knew everything about the characters but went above and beyond.  No playing by the book.  There will be BlazBlue videos on my channel soon.

I will be still playing Injustice but I am devoting more time to playing a variety of people and seeing how other characters work.  This way, I can be a better Aquaman player.

It was fun playing Devil May Spy as we always talked at tournaments but never played each other.  None of the people in our group got out of pools but my boyfriend, DarkSteel, was close.  The above video is DarkSteel playing against Chris G again after beating him in at The Fall Classic.  You can see the end result in the video.

Please enjoy the photos on my <a href="https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.735780929811988.1073741833.503598629696887&amp;type=3">Evo 2014 album</a> on Facebook.

I felt the effects of jet lag and fell asleep in my hotel room, missing out on casuals.  Despite that, I feel like I became a stronger player.  Next year, I will be playing Injustice and Blazblue at Evo.
